MEET THE DENTAL STAFF |

Dr. Heiss has lived in Southwest, Missouri for the past 25 years. He is an Ozark native, growing up in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Heiss received his undergraduate degree from Drury College in Springfield, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City for his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Heiss joined the Dental Centers team in 1996. He has four(4) grown children and nine(9) grandchildren. He enjoys traveling and collects antique trains. Dr. Heiss serves patients at the Highway location. |

Dr. Ed Campbell joined Mid-America in 1991. He received a Bachelor of Arts from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Dr. Campbell works at Dental Center's location on the Mt. Vernon Business Loop. Dr. Campbell works at Dental Center's location on the Mt. Vernon Business Loop. Dr. Campbell has a wife and three grown sons.

Dr. George Vlasak recently came to Dental Centers, joining the team in June 2006. Dr. Vlasak received his undergraduate degree from Nebraska University and his D.D.S from Creighton University. Dr. Vlasak is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and has two(2) children, fourteen(14) grandchildren, and one(1) great-grandchild. In his free time he enjoys skydiving at the Mt. Vernon Airport and trap shooting. Dr. Vlasak currently serves patients at the Highway location. |

Gary Allred, D.D.S.

Dr. Gary Allred came to Dental Centers last year from Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Allred received his D.D.S from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Dr. Allred has a wife, a son and daughter. He servers his patients at the Loop location.

Roldando Papagayo, D.D.S.
|
Dr. Papagayo joined the Dental Centers team in 2003. He received his DDS and AEGD from the University Of Missouri Kansas City. Dr. Papagayo served on the dental team at the University of Missouri Kansas City before coming to Dental Centers. Originally from the Philippines, he received his BS in Biology and DMD in Manila. He also practiced dentistry in the Philippines, before coming to the United States.

Donna Jackson, RDH |
Donna Jackson, a Registered Dental Hygienist, serves patients at Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Loop. She earned her Associate of Science in Hygiene in 1997 at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. Prior to becoming a Register Dental Hygienist, Donna utilized her graphic arts background, working as a graphic artist for a printing and sign company. She became interested in the dental hygiene field after her daughter, Kristi, became a Hygienist in 1990. "I like helping my patients keep their teeth," Donna says about her profession. "A lot of what I do is educating my patients to practice good dental health and improve their lives." Donna calls Aurora, MO home. She is an avid gardener at home, and helps out on Saturdays with sales and floral design at friend’s greenhouse. She also enjoys doing a variety of creative crafts, drawing from her graphic arts background. Donna’s daughter Kristi is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Monett, MO. Donna has three grandchildren; Joseph (14), Angel (9) and Victoria (8).

Laura Hensley, RDH |
Laura Hensley, a Registered Dental Hygienist, serves patients at Mid-America Dental & Hearing Center-Highway. She earned her Associate of Science in Hygiene at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. "I’m committed to good dental hygiene for my patients," Laura says about her profession. Her patients comment on her friendly and professional attitude. “I try to do everything I can to serve the hygiene needs of my patients while making their visit as comfortable as possible for them,” Laura said. Laura calls Carthage, Missouri home and is a lifelong resident of this Southwest Missouri community. When she’s not seeing her patients, Laura volunteers at St. Lukes Nursing Home and the C.P. Center in Carthage. Laura has 2 children; a son, MacKenzie and a daughter Brianna. Says Laura, “My children are the light of my life.”
